Down to only 2 hives. Others died in December. These 2 are in Findlay and have been feed twice this winter.
This winter was hard on my bees. Out of 14 hives, 2 made it over winter. Due to the extreme cold, bees never moved to new areas of Honey in the hive and starved. Pollinator Stewardship Council: www.pollinatorstewardship.org

First Premium: This was my first year entering honey. Although not perfect, I am happy that I was still able to get first premium.
Since putting bees in Ada, Ohio, the bee inspector has not found any bees. This has been due to not looking in the right place. I put a map in with my registration this year. I hope he finds them.
